Nice meal with friends early doors, then home about 22.30 with my son. Phone switched off about 23.00. Curtains drawn so as to avoid being invited to a neighbours house. Dodge drunken phone land line calls from friends and rellies. Wake up in the morning and be told all day I didnt miss anything, and listen to people moan how it was ten deep at the bar and they cant believe they were charging to get in. In short its a complete non event. Utter bollocks

Curry in Manchester at 1.00. Then a few beers/vodkas in the City Centre till 6ish when public transport starts running.

Few beers in the house with the enemy. Used to always do N.Y.E. (local or city centre), but pubs tend to be full of "once a year merchants". Double fare in cabs & paying to get in pubs is a bit of a ball-breaker.
