What's worse, horrifying relegation battles or terrifying title chases?

I've found the title chases to be the more stressful. Very simple reason. We've gone head to head with Liverpool (twice), United and Arsenal, 3 of the media's biggest darlings, with all the spew-inducing, one-sided, pro-red guff you'd expect, on top of all the normal stressors. The run-in against Liverpool, where we had to win 13 games on the spin, made me feel physically ill. I've never wanted us to win something as badly as that, in my whole life, just to shut the Scouse propaganda machine up. We reaped sensational rewards at the end of it all, but man, the journey!
14.

Title chases are much worse than relegation battles because when we were relegated all that happened was that some relatively inoffensive club survived in our place yet when we’ve been chasing the title we’ve faced the prospect had we finished second of a summer of gloating from despicable thieving scumbag fans and endless overhyping of and fawning over the victors in the media

Didn't expect much anticipatory pre- match day horror this, season even as recently 3 weeks ago. More mediocrity and maybe an FA Cup Final. I certainly wasn't worried about having to dive behind the sofa at odd moments or por accidently on purpose sit on the remote for 10 seconds at deliberately convenient moments of potential
horror just to to turn the TV off as if that somehow stops potential disaster.. But you have to be grateful,, innit, 'cos the alternative is worse. So I prefer the horror of the title chase.what do others think?
Same for me. Running uphill is much better than rolling downhill.

When we were bouncing up and down the divisions our pre-season expectations were a mid-table finish and a good cup run , now the expectations are through the roof and right now its brilliant because we invariably win titles. When Pep does eventually leave we might start feeling a little terror , we havent experienced losing a title race in recent history , let's hope the man who replaces Pep can keep to those levels.

2007 v 1977? Last time we were relegation threatened late on and stayed up versus last close title we lost.

Some of the relegations were dreadful, the Luton game & the Stoke game especially but some others were expected & were nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders.
Even in the bad times we would pick a result out against a top side that surprised everyone & id live off the euphoria for fucking weeks ha.
Title chasing is horrendously stressful & even games in October where we drop points is a real downer.
We hammered Bayern last week, ive never been prouder of my club, im not usually into CL games but i was that night. Next morning though, straight away, i was worrying about the fucking Leicester game. Recent City history should tell me that we, more often than not, come out on top but that typical City thing will always be part of who i am.
In short, i love winning the title but fuck me, the run ins can be truly horrible ha
