What's your Superbia Number?`

Think it was the top 1000 fans who got the invitation.

Is it really worth it?

There can only be about 30 people (if that) who've been to every game this season.

and because of that can't afford to pay 2500 in one go. theres a lot more than 30 that have done every game though. i'd say probably more like 100.

imo about 300 superbia memberships will be sold. so far it's been offered to the right people imo, so long as it stays that way its not too bad.

Anyone want to sell me theirs? Sounds like a good business opportunity to me!

BTW - we do support the ripping off of fellow blues in here, don't we?

:p

they'll be on open sale soon enough.

Clever marketing to initially sidestep the implication that it's just an executive season ticket that will give priority to anyone with enough cash.
It's by invite only don't you know, only the best of the best can apply.

It'll be open sale this summer or if City are playing a longer game then next summer & someone who has never seen a City game in their life can be in front of us for away tickets etc

Won't matter for a good while as our away followings this season have shown (how many sell outs?). But if we do become mega successful then........

And the wording/packaging of it is utterly patronising shite,

how many of them will join then sell some tickets to mates rather than actually attend every game tho?? thus keeping their names top of the pile yet picking and choosing games because of financial reasons.........this is what some rags fans have done over the years

MPOV ...To be clear, those who have been given the opportunity to take up the offer of the football equivalent of an Amex Black Card have done so (I think I am correct in saying?) because of the number of games they have attended and therefore how many loyalty points they have earned. I have absolutely no problem with that the loyalty system has worked.

As we can see above not everyone will take up the offer. I personally think the numbers who do so will be quite low, I'm guessing at about 1 in 3, about 30 percent??

Everyone offered the Superbia ticket will be guaranteed tickets to all games other than the very, very lowest allocations anyway.

My worry though is what happens to the Superbia ticket which aren't taken up?

Does anyone expect the marketing department to say 'never mind lets just forget about this initiative' ?

No way. So what happens then?

Spot on.

Do you think away-days in Europe wont sell out?
The consequence in your scenario is that the new Superbia will get tickets those who are offered the Superbia but tern them down will get tickets, through their high loyalty points and regardless, Platinum or Gold no chance.

Just out of interest how many of these "superbia " supporters are married with kids. I would imagine only a small number as the cost in time and money to follow city is now huge.

I've had a season ticket for 23 years and back in the day I never missed a game home or away, however as with City, life moves forward and you settle down and have a few kids and now I only manage all the home games, about a dozen away games and a few away Euro games when time allows.

Now I know a few lads who have had the invite and none of them are married (or have been married) , a couple of them still live with their parents (even tho middle aged blokes) and a few of them look destined to be confirmed bachelors.

So out of interest, what's the typical "superbia" background ?

How many points have the superbia invitees got out of interest

My invitation arrived this morning, I've got 7,800pts. If I could afford to splash £2,500 in one go I'd probably take it tbh - as it is having spent the sharp end of £5k on City this season (including travel, food and drink) I'm skint!
