been waiting for news on manchester city and i've only got a old transistor radio somebody left on the kippax 20 years ago it only picks up AM after the I dropped it when city dropped to the old 3rd division

909 or talksports have nothing tonight about the premier league whats happing is skysports still showing the live games called (super sunday) thinking of getting a new tv with Teletext and Ceefax maybe that's the way forward

If you get one of these pal

You can dial into something called a bulletin board
You might find some other geeky blues using something called .... a computer
its a bit like a typewriter but has a telly on the top instead of the rubber roller and ink ribbon

is that like the VHS top loader video that's use tapes and a remote with a wire I did see videos of liverpool on the carboot that was only 5 for 50p and the bloke said Liverpool games normally last about 90min but the whole of the Liverpool back just kept giving the keeper the ball to pick up for 85min so use the fast forward to the end

that's so WOW and reminds me tomorrow world is on tonight and the guy is talking about a phone you can use in a field without a wire but the battery pack is bigger than the phone they are going to call it a mobile
 
I'm pretty up to date and have been told the premier league should have started however it clearly hasn't as Chelsea, arsenal and Utd are about to dominate it this season.
 
this is a a funny thread, but it reminded me of a interesting thought I had the other day during some down time. For some reason I wondered what it would be like (as a City fan) to have been in some sort of non-lethal accident in say 2006/2007 but end up in a coma. I wake up today and groggily ask to see the latest premier league table.... WTF!!! & I don't mean C. Palace, Leicester and Swansea!!!

it would be life on mars stuff but the hate of missing the best 5 years of being a Manchester city fan it would just be my luck hahahahah
