Manchester. Always will be.
Right, no doubt I will be called a Rag and all the rest of it

But, does anyone else cringe at the "jelly and ice cream" "bouncy castle" etc songs and comments about taggert

I despise the man myself, but waiting and wishing for his or anyones death just makes me feel a bit sad about it all. He manages our main rivals and obviously he has said things that were designed to belittle us. But hopefully Bob will be make us the dominant force and he will upset a few rags along the way. To borrow a quote "this is football".

So let the rag comments commence, i'm just embarrassed by it a bit

i sing the song and enjoy singing the song however i wouldnt say when the song is sung people actually would laugh when he dies or wish he would die, i wouldnt wish death upon anybody unless theyve murdered, raped etc.

I hope he lives a long and healthy life after retirement as I want to see his face when we win our 20th title.

My thoughts exactly.

For the record he is a twat but i dont wish ill health or death on anyone because they are our sporting rivals.

I'm uncomfortable with it too.

I'm dreading the reaction on here the day he dies. It has the potential to reflect very, very badly on us as fans, especially as the press will be watching like a hawk

I said the other day on the Amy Winehouse thread that someone dying shouldn't turn you into a hypocrite. If you didn't like them when they were alive their dying shouldn't change that.

But there's a world of difference between that and celebrating someone's death. He might be a **** but he's got family etc...so I, for one, won't be getting the jelly and ice cream out.

I agree - and might add that I find it fucking vile of anyone referring to Ferguson or Charlton (or anyone else, for that matter) as "Shakin'".

I watched my Uncle - as staunch and committed Blue as you would ever meet - suffer a long, painful and heartbreaking death through Parkinsons...which I assume is possibly the reason for Charlton's shaking.

I would not wish that on anyone...

I despise the twat and wouldnt give a fuck if he died tomorrow.

Pass the parcel anyone?

I really don't think that anybody sings that song with any malice and I certainly don't wish an untimely death on Fergie, but I do like Jelly an Ice Cream

Yep but if say Everton fans were singing it about Dalgleish most would condemn it (as all have done on here tbf)

Edit - MikeN popped in to prove me wrong

the jelly and ice cream will definately be out in my house when Thatcher kicks the bucket though. But that's another story!
