When/why did you join Bluemoon?

2010 for me, although had lurked as a guest for about a year before that.Decided to join as I wanted to express my opinion on all things City , however infrequently !!!

As you will see from my post count, infrequent poster but avid reader of other member's views. I enjoy reading the views ,opinions, itks, moaning and in some cases downright lying that appears.

Thanks to Ric and all the others who keep providing an essential part of my daily dose of all things City.

Used to read MCIVTA when I lived abroad, looked for a new website when the information started to slow down and they only had the newsletter. Fixtures are still up there for 2009-10.

I'd visited a potential new account in Tyneside and they had signed football shirts up in the reception. When I went into see the buyer we had a chat about football and it turned out he was an ex pat Manc and City fan
He told me he kept up to date with what was going on at the club by being a member of a fans forum called Bluemoon and he encouraged me to have a look

I did, I lurked for a few weeks and joined when I returned from holiday

Very, very naively I started a new topic about being "filled in" as in what had gone on during the two weeks I'd been on hol and I was immediatley set upon by Kingy and Scar.. "Paedo" "Puff" "gay" shirtlifter" and numerous other insults and comments flew my way, a real welcome that was

Thats nowt fella,I was called a rag.

I joined on the day of the 1-6 at the swamp. I was browsing the net trying to find humorous jokes, gifs, etc. to take the piss out of Rags I know to humiliate them even further over the aniliation they had witnessed earlier in the day!

I came across bluemoon, some of the stuff posted on here was absolutely priceless, it had me in gut wrenching laughter.

It was obvious the site had some fantastic members who epitomised the City sense of humour, I thought to myself I have to be a part of this and signed up.

I never tire of browsing the forum and although I enjoy some of the serious posts, just like that first day-it's the stuff that makes me laugh, wether taking the piss out of others or ourselves that really gets me.

Thankyou fellow Bluemooners, especially you funny t**ts!
