When/why did you join Bluemoon?

When: 2nd May, 2009

Why: My ex-girlfriend had a guy to stay over at her place, so being young(er) and stupid(er) I just decided to sign up to take my mind off it. When those problems went away I stopped posting until around August 2009 when I just decided to come back.

You should have tried cocaine.

I left that part out.

Been a member on here since 2009 when I first got a smartphone. Before then I used to come on and read posts and topics on sporadic occasions, maybe for about four years. Changed my username last year for more anonymity.

Main reason I've stuck with BM over others is the quality of many topics, the lack of clutter from signature/pictures (still think locations and post counts should be sacked off to make this point even better), and how lenient the mods are. Forums have now overtaken the press for useful information, so much so that I don't have to read any newspapers whatsoever anymore for sports information.

A few things annoy me. Fanboys for example who aren't fans of the club and will slag the club, other players and us fans off jut to make their player look good. I'd rather have Rags on here like Viva Rivaldo and JM Mcr than these slime balls.

And I wish Yanks would use British English when posting. I hate the unnecessary 'Z's in the wrong places and silly little saying or words they have.

Other than that, this place is great.

Bored back then, and still bored. Only joking, to have stimulating conversation with fellow like minded blues about gods only club. :-)

I joined because someone at work told me about it. What he didn't say was that you lot were a bunch of moaning shits so after a couple of times I sacked it and I didn't bother with it for years. When I came back you were still effin moanin' but this time I stayed.

Keegan's team was playing exciting footy and SWP was worth the entrance fee alone.

Think we had less than a hundred members

Yep ... I joined because I lived in Melbourne at the time and wanted to feel closer to the action. Feels like time flies but at the same time feel like i'm a completely different poster from the know it all punk kid I was then.
You may be a different poster but you are still a know it all punk kid ;-)

Can't remember why I signed up. My first post if I look back is something to do with books for reading on holiday. That'd be about right, I am a bit of a boring ****.

i just feel much, much older..

Some Schalke hools attacked a tram with City fans after the Euro League game. I think, i translated and posted the german police report about that incident on Bluemoon.

That was the one with the bloke with the umbrella. it now transcribes there was 3000 on that tram, Bit like York away

It was that packed, it felt like there were 3000 on it. It was half and half Schalke and City on the tram
My lasting memory is, as the tram couldn't get going again until the doors were shut, all you could here was De Niro shouting, "just close those fucking doors will you" and when you looked at him he was mucking about on his iPhone seemingly not giving a shit about our predicament

Joined in early 2008 (different account) to call Thaksin a **** and slag off blues who were up his arsehole.
