It got a bit feisty. I got called an idiot 3 times for suggesting that lfc are favoured by referees.
Considering they are looking like winning the league after a 30 year drought they are a little bit obsessed with City.

I posted this in the thread the other day, but it was seemingly largely ignored:

On a side note, these threads are getting increasingly toxic. People are entitled to have different views on the subject without getting hounded for it. Let's keep the discussion civil.

It's the same with the Liverpool thread. We just end up going round in circles, with the same arguments being recycled and it gets increasingly vitriolic. It then attracts more and more Liverpool fans, fanning the flames with veiled digs about Arabs and oil money, and it becomes a race to the bottom. If there's no sensible discussion to be had then we'll just remove the threads for now as they're getting out of hand. It really shouldn't be this hard keeping things civil, but we're spending a disproportionate amount of time having to moderate those threads. Anyway, it's New Year's Eve. Go out and enjoy yourselves!
