Where/ how does Delph fit in?

Out of his depth really which was always going to be the case. I would just love to hear the thought process when the management committee decided to make this signing. Lets be honest here some one like Kean Bryan would have done no worse than Delph if given the chance.

Hope we sell him for 4m. He'll fit in well somewhere for that price. Play a kid instead if we have to.

Not being funny but some of our youth players looked out of their league against Chelsea's U18's, and the lads in the U21's looked miles behind Boro's U21's..... Delph may have had a few bad games, yeah, but he's got years of Premier League experience, played at the very top and represented our Country, to say a 19 year old lad who can't even hold his natural playing position in the U21's would play no worse than Delph is a bit of an extreme assumption to make

At 2-1 down, whilst we were on top, his shit 10 yard pass was cut out!

Their break lead to a corner, their corner lead to the killer 3rd goal.

In short, Delph is as shit as Bony and Sterling; he's just better value shit because he cost less. If anyone can explain how any 3 of these buffoons warrant a place at our club then please enlighten me.

All 3 are woefully inadequate, and no amount of coaching, Pep or no bloddy Pep, can improve any of those to a level we require. Well and truly £100m down the bog.

You've clearly made your own opinions up in your own mind on Bony, Sterling and Delph, so for someone to try and change that opinion of yours now would be like shitting in their hands and clapping.

I know where my opinions stand on Bony, Sterling and Delph, but the problem is these conversations seem to go round and round every week on Bluemoon, so the only thing we can do at this point of the season now is to wait for July and see what Pep does.

The only reason why Sterling will remain is the price and his age and the fact that Pep will give him one season to see whether he has what it takes because at present and for the main he has lacked the skill , pace , drive , physicality and mental strength to justify a position in the side.

The other two you mention are history and have probably baring injury played their last game at the club.

Delph is no more than a poor man's Rodwell another terrible buy and those responsible for bringing him to the club must be on their last legs at City as well.

The buys in the past 3 seasons have really been pathetic with one or two exceptions to say the least and its a sad indictment that we are only talking about a 19 year old who can say he justified his position in this side.

He could be a squad player for us, adequate enough to come on after an hour to rest one of our first in midfield if we're leading and the the result looks certain but starting games for us, no, he has heart and dedication but he isn't quite good enough to start for us is the honest assessment.

Another Txiki/ Pellegrini signing that didn't improve the first eleven. There's too many of them and most will hopefully be shipped out in the summer once a better judge of player arrives.

Losing at Southampton but winning in Madrid sounds like typical City. Here's hoping.

Yep. The transfers over the last few years have been by and large completely woeful.

Txiki's saving grace is that he's brought in his friend Pep. He hasn't done well so far regarding the majority of transfers.
