Where is THE elano?

Elano hasnt had many games but last night against copenhagan he came on as a sub and played poorly. He got the ball about 3 times and passed it out of our possession everytime. Its almost asif he isnt Elano anymore... and i think ever since he grew his hair he hasnt been on form. Maybe he needs a trim? :P lol

Many thought after the Brazil/Italy game that he deserved to be starting matches. But then there was the Portsmouth game. Enough said.

Dunga commented on his form after the Brazil game but would not elaborate on why he thought Elano is not starting for City.

I think it's just one of those things where some players just can't get up and motivated for certain managers and he's a different player for us at the moment. His problem is supposed to be that he likes to be playing regularly but yet when he does play he's so indifferent.

On another thread apparently he wasn't happy again last night after the match. Can't see this situation going on longer than the summer.

I waited for his appearance last night expecting him to add even more to our play, I was very disapointed his passing was really off, his first three did not even get near their target, is it just lack of first team appearances ??? or worryingly is it some thing else ???

Elano and Robinho, don't fit in Mark Hughes's style of play. Great players shame they will be off in the summer. Coming off the bench for a few minuets dosn't help, Robinho didn't look happy either.

How do you work out Robby doesn't fit in with MH's style of play?

Could have scored three and made Bellamy's second, plus other chances for Bellamy and Sweep. If that's not fitting in, give me more players who you think don't fit in!

this is true im a fan of elano but if you dont play the man and just keep giving him little chance every now and again he doesnt gain confidence. Think richards good take a break place Zab back there again and put elano in the team for me?
