York away? Villa at home 25/09/2012

I was watching City lose to Swindon at Maine Road (thanks to that b'stand Mike Summerbee) along with 8,014 (although now it was allegedly 800,015) others.

I was a 9 year old lad going to city v Swindon at main road (not saying York) even tho i did go. (home) with my dad, as my mates watched united at home on the telly. Most of my mates are united fans and have never been to old Trafford. I've been more times than them.

Did anyone go to the Jamaica friendly at Maine road. Think we drew 1-1. Remember getting a half city have Jamaica scarf.

This was my first ever game, I was 6. Nobody seems to remember it though. I also got a half n half scarf too.

That Jamaican game was crazy. Seemed like there was about 25 City fans in the block I was in in the North Stand on the bend (k?) and the rest of the ground was ganga smoking drum beaters/whistle blowers.

pointless thread imo, we went cause we luv city, shite or not so shite, on plus side was cheaper wen we was shite, even remember went into victoria family stand to watch us, with a swift tap on shoulder at half time from a guy asking the most obvious question" guess u a mcfc fan eh?" hmm wot gave game away, was it my city shirt in crowd of stoke shirts, or was it fact i jumped and cheered when we scored, although fink we lost 2-1, and thinking if we had won, boy was thinking a kicking was on the cards, lol

I saw that match. Never got to be in the 84000 odd for the Stoke match but in true City style I made the lowest attendance. Just as those ten million who went to York have got their own Royal Warrant we ought to have one for that Swindon match. They can be the Yorkie Bar Club and we can be the 'Dons!

Started off in 1956 as a 4-year-old,scoreboard end,on the wall, right behind the goal with my old fella.Graduated to the Kippax 1964/5 season, always half-way up and bang on the halfway line.Had a few special occasions in the main stand but never really took to it.

my love affair started in 1995 as a 20year old boy and the reason was the little georgian magician Kinky.

Before 1995 my main memories of city were the constant replays of the 1981 cup final and the fact that they were rubbish basically.

Kinky opened my eyes to city and i started follwoing him and city more and more much to the amazement of my friends. i loved walking around in a city shirt. No-one in wales wore a city shirt. i was different. i was cool (so i thought). but wearing it only brought me constant piss taking. but this made me stronger and made my love stronger. I fell in love with City....i loved kinky......i loved michael brown.......i loved maine road.......i passed my driving test at 21 and in my first car, a 1979 ford Capri i drove all the way to maine road just to be there and sit outside the ground. I never made it to a game there unfortunatley and still havent watched a game at the etihad but this doesnt make me any less of a city fan........ and even though my first season supporting city ended in relegation i just knew that City was where my heart belonged too....

So you can drive up for no reason what so ever, but can't get here for a game?

It really just needs a banner done with 'Man City v Blackpool August 8th 1998 Division 2 [ old division 3] Attendance: 32.134 sold out to capacity.'That should shut the fuckers up!

Rules?

Don't be sarcy...

Just all the time (and it gets boring) many Blues come on here justifying how big of a Blue they are,why they have a devine right to support this club post-takeover and it is fucking arrogant in many cases.

Many Blues I know who have been to more games than I've had hot dinners yet they never talk about how many points they have, how long they've had ST's and all this boastful crap... I'm only aware of this info due to them being members of the Supporters Club.

In general discussion it doesn't come across as being boastful, but creating a whole new topic with these kind of titles, then a few paragraphs of how big of a blue you are and then telling everyone to fuck off.... is arrogance and it stinks.

So rule one : Don't be sarcastic
Rule two: Don't be boring
Rule 3: Don't tell away support who visit Bluemoon to FUCK OFF because you're sick of hearing them sing the same old shit every week which is total fucking bollocks.
Rule 4 : DO NOT try to teach this clueless away support by telling them you were there when we were shit.

Rule 5: Basically keep your trap shut.

I'm learning. Thanks mate.

A smelly arrogant prick in 212.

I was in the Kippax mostly, in the corner near the North Stand.

Bring the sub on!

I was in the North Stand for the year it was standing and in Platt Lane a bit before it became the away end.

I ended up in the Main Stand after I found the new Kippax stand a bit of a let down.
