Didsbury Dave said:Every single time this is sung it is answered with a rousing chorus of "we were here when we were shit" and never sung again.Petetheblu said:I know where I was Mr Q, but is there something we could at least sing back regardless of the fact that we were always there?
Smokey Robinson words....I don't care what they say?
I don't care what they say about City...Come on BLUES!!
ignorance is pure shite in this case, let's have something as solid as our never dying support to sing back!!!
Maine Rd, shite ridden back alleys, pouring rain, belief, hanging on to a draw, relegation, Lee bradbury penalty miss, losses to Bury and so much more hurt with a sprinkle of being let down on top!!
Let's not just stand there with our fingers in our ears, let's have something to sing back!!!!!!!!
Come on lads and lasses.............
So why keep Saying "come on blues" in your posts? Have you not heard this?
Good morning Dave
Only heard that once, "WE were here when we was shit"
I sit in the family stand and hear "where were you" belted out by the opposing fans every home match. Must be going deaf, not as young as I used to be...
Just thought that we could belt something back at them, that had our sence of humour attached.
Its guaranteed that opposing fans will sing this for the next 10-20 years.
