i was crying ,in Saturday 14th May 1983.... :(
You sure about the venue Ste?25th September 1985 at Gigg Lane... Bury vs. City.
I was in my Mothers Victorian style Pram all nice and cosy.
I can't remember much about the match as I was only 6mths old but apparently this was my first Away Day :D
I've been to plenty of away days since and I still can't seem to remember many of them for some damn reason.
I think it's something called Alcohol?? that seems to creep into my Milk Bottles that may be the problem.
Just use the line "It's a home game, you'd be in the ground if you really supported them."Whereas I will be in a hotel bar in Okehampton.
Does being in Devon leave me somewhat at risk of walking into a rag-fest?
Egg on face lol... I stand corrected. You sure about the venue Ste?
At the Swamp going absolutely berzerk, one of, if not THE best away game ever - hoping for the same next weekend ;-)
Laughed at loud at this.very dry OP.On Saturday 14 July 2007 I was driving my Vauxhall Vectra (later to be stolen off my path and never recovered) in a southerly direction down Kingsway. As I was passing the allotments (later to become a tram station) just before Parrs Wood, it was announced on GMR (later to become BBC Radio Manchester) that City had signed none other than Gelson Fernandes.
Where were you at other equally critical moments in the history of our illustrious boys in blue?
