In a 4-3-3 he is easily the best suited to take up the left side role, Navas on the right and the current-best-in-form striker in the middle. Negredeo looks really impressive I have to say and is probably the most versatile striker we have in the squad. His amazing understanding with Navas is not to be broken up.

Is calling Jovetic Jojo really anymore cringeworthy than calling Silva Merlin?

Wouldn't say either myself but if you don't have a problem with one I can't see why you'd have a problem with the other.

It's not like Jojo's been made up since he came to City either, it was his nickname at Fiorentina.

Depends on formation or opponents

If he starts with Silva he'll be on the left cutting inside
If Silva doesn't start he can play the Silva role
He can also play in a three with Silva and Nasri interchanging.

Like Zabba and Rodwell, he's another versatile addition to the squad.
