In a 4-4-2 he is easily the best suited to take up the left sided kitchen role, Alf Stewart on the right and the current-best-in-form shoe polisher in the middle. my shoe polish looks really impressive I have to say and is probably the most versatile shoe polish I have in my kitchen. The amazing understanding my shoe polish has with Michelle Mcmanus is not to be broken up. Unless a better shoe polish comes on the market.

David Platt

Deirdre Barlow Ashley Peacock Den Watts Harold Bishop

Ian Beale Cain Dingle Karl Kennedy Alf Stewart

Dot Cotton Lynn Scully

That looks a good line up mate.

Am I missing something? Something wrong with my initial post?

Nothing wrong with it, just me being immature. Again.

Depends on formation or opponents

If he starts with Silva he'll be on the left cutting inside
If Silva doesn't start he can play the Silva role
He can also play in a three with Silva and Nasri interchanging.

Like Zabba and Rodwell, he's another versatile addition to the squad.

Agreed. Although I suspect his main position will be from the left with Nasri playing more centrally more often than he did last season.

Really hope so.

I'd like us to have Silva (or Nasri, or even Yaya) behind the striker, in the middle of the pitch, particularly in big games, this season. For me, that's where you'll get the most out of Silva and Nasri and if you do that I think we'll be very successful. It means only playing one striker so whilst Jovetic (and possibly Aguero) could play on the left you're likely to have at least two strikers on the bench. However, with Aguero's recent injury record and Dzeko's hot and cold form, this may not be such a bad thing, especially as it gives you more options to change things later in a game.

Is calling Jovetic Jojo really anymore cringeworthy than calling Silva Merlin?

Wouldn't say either myself but if you don't have a problem with one I can't see why you'd have a problem with the other.

It's not like Jojo's been made up since he came to City either, it was his nickname at Fiorentina.

Merlin is a magician and very suitable for Silva..
Jojo sounds like an American 13 year old girl with a horse and teeth braces.

JoJo? fucking hell sounds like a fucking pop singer
Hope we never have to say to him

Get back, JoJo
Go Home.

Jojo was a man who thought he was a woman....

I changed the post title! We might as well call him Cтeвaн Joвeтић then. I agree with the above that he could be very useful for us if any of our forwards gets injured. He's versatile and I think he can score quite a few goals next season. We shall see.

Get Out, LEAVE, right now,
it's the end of you and meeee.
It's too late, NOW, and I can't wait for you to be goneeee

Depends who plays with him. If Navas plays he'll stick to the right and Jovetic and whoever else is playing from Silva/Nasri will probably swap between the free role and the left sided cutting in role. I expect that is what we will see most often this season but i also expect to see him once or twice as an out and out forward as part of a 4-4-2 and probably even on the left of midifeld of a 4-4-2 throughout the season. Our formation will change constantly and we've got the players capable to play a variety of roles upfront which can only make us unpredictable and therefore a lot more dangerous.
