Seriously, he is the only player who seems to play with any passion or desire! Wright-Phillips just seems to run into people and fall over, Santa-Cruz is absolutely diabolical, Given doesn't seem to be performing like he used to, Richards doesn't get back, Adebayor is always suspended, even Bellamy has looked off the boil slightly in recent games (except Chelsea game), Barry just shouts at the ref! De Jong and Kompany have been the best of the rest!

But take out Tevez' work rate and goals this season, and where would we be? God help us if he gets injured!!
 
You could ask where would we be if Adebayor was in the team on a more consistent basis? We'd probably be fourth, because he wouldn't be far behind Tevez in the goals department.

fact is every one of the 'big' teams tend to rely heavily on one player. it is then upto others to step up in the case of injuries etc.
chelsea managed it with anelka replacing drogba
the others have all struggled without their 'star man'
