Costa Rica and Dalmatia are both amazing.Good question. Having lived outside of Boston for over 30 years now, my thoughts are turning south to get away from the Winters here. But while I like the southern states to visit, I am not sure that I could live there with the current fractured state of America. I do love it here but I am increasingly feeling the need to get out.
So Costa Rica for me when I retire. Beautiful laid back place with lovely people.
Or I might come home to Ireland...back to my hometown of Clonakilty; the best small town in the planet. But I am not sure that I could handle the weather.
Just got back from Croatia last week. What an incredibly beautiful country. The coastline is to fucking die for. Maybe there...
So basically, I am a bit undecided...:)
I thought it was piss poor mate ? Each to their own..Love Manchester always stay every other weekend for the games with family now since covid before traveled down on supporter's bus 3 hours away but now we make a great weekend of it staying at a few hotels depending on price & availability but have to say I spent 4 nights this week up In Edinburgh & it's a brilliant City & it's definitely my favourite

What a climate.
Yes Boston is a lovely city with a more European feel that most other cities over here. And more culture.I loved Boston library.
It's a lovely City.
Always really enjoyed Boston whenever I’ve visited.Yes Boston is a lovely city with a more European feel that most other cities over here. And more culture.
Yes indeed. A nice compact place to walk around. Trust me, you don't want to be driving there though...;)Always really enjoyed Boston whenever I’ve visited.
As you say, a more European feel than most cities in the US, but importantly the centre is compact enough to be able to get around on foot. Makes it all much more relaxed when you can just stroll around for the day.
