The Guardian has moved recently from a Lib Dem stance to a more or less Corbynite position.
I imagine a fair few on this forum love it :)
The gaurdian ran a two year run of anti-corbyn articles with many interviews with his critics and polly toynbee slagging him off.
It was create by liberals and was pro liberal until the mid 50s where it sort of moved onto supporting labour, sinnce the 2010 election it has backed the lib dems mainly.
I do read it at times, as it covers a lot of international stories not in depth, but it is a very annoying paper, and far too 'right on' and woke to the point of nausea
For the left you have
Tabloid - the mirror
Broadsheet - nine
Specualist publications - new statesman, morning star, the socialist, news line.
Liberal
Tabloid - i
Broadsheet - the gaurdian, independant
Specialist - not sure
Right wing
Tabloid - mail, sun, express
Broadsheet - telegraph, times
Specialist - the spectator
Neutral - FT
Irrelevant - the star.
BBC are right wing in the news department but more liberal/left ring in their entertainment and dram departments, ultimately I think bbc tend to lean with the government of the day which is not it's remit, but understandable as the government can cut it's funding at a whim, and also explains why both left and right moan about it being anti each side.
ITN are quite mixed their news on itv is quite typical where channel 4 news is more left wing at times.
Sky new was pretty pro murdoch lines but has become more even handed over the years and more nuetral.
RT is funny, but I get more global and even handed UK news watching Al Jazeera which has no allegience to any party.
I prefer to look at a few stories form all the sides angles and make up my mind, as no paper is strictly of my views.
