There is never a good outcome from these threads. Why does a football forum need a politics board anyway? Aren't there any actual politics forums to go and post on?
If you choose to ignore this rule, thread bans can be issued.Avoid getting into personal arguments and derailing threads. Please keep it to private messages or, if necessary, use the ignore function
I find it disturbing that the news can represent your political views in the first place. News should be a bunch of things that happened. It's like asking which scientific discovery best represents your political views.
Yes I know, and that's the problem. That’s a very naive view I’d say. The Guardian is completely Remain for example and their slant on any economic or political news is shaped by that editorial policy. The Telegraph is the opposite as it is Leave supporting and they report on the same issues from that perspective.

I mean you say it in your very post. "Political views." Political views are a completely separate thing from news. TV news isn't perfect, but it largely manages to tell the news and is generally regulated reasonably well. A lot of newspaper stories on the other hand are barely disguised opinion pieces or 100 page campaign adverts for a particular political party or policy.I’m struggling with what you appear to want. Political views are about as subjective as you can get so how can there be a single correct one and who will decide what that is and how would it be regulated?
