Which of our Youngsters will make it with us?

So let's go for a team of possibles!

Gunn
Maffeo,Humphries.Tosin,Angelino
Celina,Bryan,Garcia
Lopes,Ambrose,Barker

Subs Lawlor,Fernandez,Cole,Nemane,Pozo,Fofana,Boadu

OK I am stretching 1 or 2 but not a bad group of players are they to show how positive we can be about our youth set up. No doubt I have missed a few possibles as we. Maybe Tattum who is showing very good signs and often captaining the 18's at the moments.

Of the above Nelly,i'm most excited by Garcia,i'm surprised he didn't feature at some point over the 2 game 48hr period.Boadu is another that could be special......
The biggest disappointment I fear will be Pozo,i'm not sure he has the package.

Kind of agree with Pozo, I think in La Liga he will become a decent player but I question whether he has the mental strength to handle the physicality of Premier League football.

I thought he got a little bullied by Shalke's defenders the other day.

Pozo looked great at the start of the season but has dropped off quite a bit since he got a few senior caps and it makes you think if he has had a little reality check of how big the step up is to first team football in the Premier League, maybe not technically but most certainly physically.

He could do with a loan next year, he needs an intermediate step.

Did he not get injured after the Leicester game? He has had a fair few injuries the last 18 months. Tbf He looked like a player being asked to play out of position for the first team. Despite that he was very close (great Howard save) to a vital second at home to Everton.

Perhaps he needs a prolonged spell injury free in his best position before we make any judgments.

Jason Denayer, Angelino and Marcos Lopes.

Possibly Brandon Barker, Jose Angel Pozo and Devante Cole as squad players.

Maffeo has more chance than Angelino I reckon but its very close as they're both great. I just think Maffeo, despite being small like Angelino, already plays like a proper leader and like a man when he's just a kid.

None.
The customers sorry fans want instant success.
This isn't going to be provided by the youth.
We'll just keep bringing in rent boys... With our youth players moving on to be the next Daniel Sturridges....

When I see someone like grealish playing for villa, playing well. Id say we have players just as talented who could be playing.

And you're 100% right. Celina and Boadu, just to name two, would be able to do just as good a job at least if they were playing in the same role he had tonight.
