Lost 4-2 on pens. 1997. Martyn Margetson in net. “Nuf said.
23 and that’s more misery than anyone should have to take!
I went to 15 of the above listed.....plus what about the FA Cup final with Spurs on the Saturday, the 1-1 game. We were winning with 9 minutes left but Tommy Hutchinson deflected it into his own net. Thats not listed above and tickets for that were like rocking horse manure....sadly lost my program to the Centinary FA Cup final.
I need to have a pint with you mate
Reckon about 4 or 5 but never really been one for doing away games and too young for some on the list, tho I can add one that’s not on the list, reading away in the LC in late 93 but that was a win and doesn’t quite fit
17 , and the main reason i laugh out loud when opposing supporters sing WWYWYWS , its not been a walk in the park watching our club , but a hell of a lot of us have paid our dues and thoroughly deserve this success , the media can childishly count the empty seats , but we've got one of the most loyal fan bases in football , so the media and know nowt rival supporters can jog on.
3 defeats to United?
Done 28, too young for the Chelsea ones.
If you can think of games that caused more grief than those listed, I'm all ears. Or maybe derby defeats don't mean that much to you. Interesting...
