Without the risk of loss, winning is meaningless... Would you find following the Harlem Globetrotters worthwhile and in fairness they have lost 345 times(against 27,000 wins though)!!

Really think that's what many Rags fans want being the biggest team in the planet and seeing all other teams as cannon fodder. They came perilously close to becoming footballs Harlem Globetrotters in the nineties and noughties. Only the investments at Chelsea and then City restored done balance to the premier League

Some not done

Every Stoke fan I met was gracious at Wembley in 2011. Almost as good as Sunderland were in 2014 and no Villa style shithousery.
Hmm. I was lucky enough to be in the Club Wembley seats for that game. Unfortunately, at the Stoke end of the ground. But hey, I got the ticket for free, so I can't really complain. No replica shirts allowed in there, but you could have a scarf. Anyhow, at the end of the game, I was stood at the railing at the front of the section, waiting for the presentation, with my scarf draped loosely around my neck. And no, I wasn't giving it the big 'un. Suffice to say, they weren't clapping me and wishing me a safe journey. The ones in the posh seats were okay, though. Got a few well dones and a couple of handshakes.

This reminds me I was coming back from a game in London I think the year we won the 2nd title and the talkshow had caller after caller from united talking about how they where the "greatest fans in the world" because they stuck with the club through thick and thin... Yes I have watched some crap football at City and the thin kind of sucked, but we aren't Rochdale either! How united supporters even those that followed them in the early 70s can talk about thin times is laughable.

Tier 1 hatred. The Scum.

Tier 2 hatred. Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid.

Tier 3 hatred (movable feast). Crystal Palace (goes back to a fixture at Maine Road when they had Wright and Bright and got Eric Nixon sent off). Oldham Athletic (gobshites when they were in the Prem). Aston Villa, due to the final and nonsense from their fans when we signed Grealish. Everton, still scousers. Leeds United, Millwall, Middlesbrough, Cardiff City (Nathan Blake), Burnley (Neanderthal’s).
