We know the board is full of highly succesfull buisness men, and to be succesfull in a buisness you are not familliar with you need to use consultants. So presumably once the board have spoken to Hughes and he lays the blame of poor performance at the players feet (which i believe is the case btw) they don't just accept this as gospel and carry on. They must have people acting as a advisors who actually have an in depth knowledge of football or running a club.

As highly skilled as Garry Cook is, his background is in sports retail and he really can't be the only person ADUG listen to about the performance of their club on field. You can't pump money into a buisness you have little knowledge of, like ADUG have and plan to do without having advice from succesfull people in that field of buisness.

So I'm just wondering, who are they using? Why isn't more known of them? And when the bloody hell are we going to sign some new players?(Ok maybe the last one is abit off topic)

Garry Cook needs replacing imo, yes he has good business accumen, but he knows fuck all about football.

They will never tell an outsider who they consult I bet.

Simon Pearce is the one responsible for arranging matters in regards to advice to ADUG and he´ll never disclose matters.

After Jo and TBH lets hope its not still Kia Jorabchin and Pinni Zahavi. Unfortunately, I suspect life is not so simple.

Isn't Simon Pearce just a PR guy?

How's about a High Council of Football??!!

You could fill it with 9 (for reasons of voting!) former players, and then they could be consulted, like the Jedi Council on matters relating to football.

swhould be jimmy wagg, peter barnes, gary owen, andy hinchcliffe and mike summerbee....oh and fred eyre.......

the politics of the last 18 months are mind bending, and no where near being resolved yet.

funny how it all seems to boil down to a group of players with links to these two vs the hughes camp. nery's agent is now sven's representative in mexico.

zahavi is svens agent and apparently the one who offered TBH to the club. MSI have been using city's name whenever mascher/tevez's clubs have needed a push to sign them permanently. a while back unnamed people were seeking to unseat mark hughes for their own purposes, and i could only think that this was down to super-agents who wanted someone less picky about transfer targets.

now there are stories being fed to the press that our troubles are in large part down to nery, tbh, jo and elano. ok, i cant find a clear link for elano's agent to kia and pinni, but he was something of a sven protege.

the battle for control the gravy train is raging fiercely, it would appear. does hughes wants his own targets in before anymore superstars arrive, and why the signing of bridge was a 'statement of intent' (i.e. I am in charge of transfers)?

Well lets hope that the owners get it sorted out if that is the case
