So we won the league and then the FA cup in 68 and 69 and the famous trio was Bell,Lee and Summerbee.
We did it the other way around in 2011/12 so in 40 years time who will we reflect on as our famous trio ?

Mine would be

Kompany (our leader)
Yaya (crucial goals)
Aguero ( that goal )

Can't disagree with that.

I don't really see how we could be remembered as just a trio in the future. The three players you mentioned have obviously been great for us but im sure in the future it will be commentators and pundits reeling off a list of the players that helped us win the league this season and the FA cup last season.

Honestly I can't think of three more vital players to City. What happened when Yaya and Kompany couldn't play? We basically collapsed, and then they took a while to come back to form when allowed to play again.

wow this is hard my first thought was silva, aguero, toure
but then u have hart and kompany.
will have to be the 5 amigos
silva,hart,kompany,toure,aguero

Poor old Joe. Or is it 'Holy Trinity' +1?

Kompany - No superlatives can describe what he means to us

Yoyo Toure - Simply outstanding, i cant believe i was questioning why we had signed him at first. Proved me and a LOT of other blues wrong.

Silva - At the heart of everything for us. even when he has a quieter game, and he did have a few last season, injuries/heavily marked/tired etc, still seems to be the catalyst for every move. footballing brain that outweighs most players in the world, never mind the prem. few better IMO

Special mention to Kun for his goals this season, however as he wasn't here last season i cant in good conscience include him in the special 3.

Another Special Mention for Gaz Baz, who has been omnipotently "steady". Never one for the limelight, never going to score 20 goals from midfield, but always there, always reliable. take a bow son.

Last one for Pab Zab - the man is an absolute LION. will play where we put him, and play well. the ultimate in utility technology. Fuck Bear Grylls and his knife, this man for all seasons.
