Not at the same level yet but Saka out of contract with arsenal, looks a decent prospect and could be worth a punt

He's one I'd love to see here, he can play LB and LW so could provide cover for Mendy and whoever Sane's replacement is. He's more than capable of taking either place if he fulfils his potential, maybe even immediately. I'd have no problems him starting at LB or LW for us from the beginning of next season.

We absolutely need to buy someone. I think Bernardo taking up David Silva's role of weaving the attacks together, not necessarily getting all the goals and assists but bringing all the play together is going to be great for him. Sterling as the first choice starter playing both right and left, Mahrez mainly on the right and a new face (Sancho imo) mainly on the left. Supplemented by Bernardo and Phil, perhaps Braaf too.

Midfield, I'd be selling Gundogan and buying Havertz or Aouar.

Phone around a few clubs, or just put him on the transfer list and circulate it to a few hacks. In fact just how do you get rid of a player who has three years of a contract left.
Fanciful yes but imagine a attack midfield/wide depth of Sterling, Sancho, Mahrez, KDB, Bernardo, Foden and Havertz/Aouar. Supplemented by the likes of Doyle, Braaf, Palmer maybe Bernabe too. Then you've got Aguero up front and Jesus who can play wide too. Very fanciful, 99% unlikely but my god it'd be fun!

Those 3 imo not good enough to replace him. Richarlison probably best of the 3 but Everton literally just paid upwards of 50m. Jota to me just looks decent at best and Sarr (Watford) nah.

I hope City make a statement signing rather than buy average mid table players. Son, Havertz type players for me I'd even sign Bale & Aubamyang for 2/3 years

I just relaly hope that if everything goes are way regarding that we come out all guns blazing on the transfer front (within FFP rules that is -though they have been relaxed this year I believe - now could be the time to strike to set us up for the next 5 years or more)
