ive always used skyscanner to find cheapest flights and tended to go via Manchester even if it costs a bit more and never had a problem.

Saw flights to and from Düsseldorf that suited us so booked. It took us to opodo and they took payment. However we only received email confirmation for the return flight and not the outbound.

Rang them regarding the confirmation and they've said due to demand the price for the outbound flight has increased. It'll cost us another £160!!

Just wondering how people book because clearly the prices aren't live prices using skyscanner.

Used Skyscanner Dusseldorf flights never confirmed so went plan B to cologne and got £62 return from Manchester

Always check skyscanner and then find out which airline and use there official website. Will never book through Skyscanner again after being double charged with flights to PSG. Expedia just as bad cos they just take you to external dodgy websites.

I lived in Dusseldorf for a while so used Eurowings got 2 flights there and back for less than £400. Cologne isn't too far away if anyone is still after flights

This.

Mates booked Cologne through Expedia, £78. I went direct to airline and it was £58

Use skyscanner or google flights to see which airline/route is the cheapest and then book direct through the airline website. Third parties such as Opodo in this instance, always have a clause in their T&C's that they can increase the price if they themselves can't get the price they initially advertised.

Always use the airline direct, as agents always change the price post booking.

Kiwi travel in Wigan

Ask for Norman

Use him for work all the time. Not the cheapest but tell him when and where and he will get you there. Any problems at all and he can sort it out, its brilliant
