Who else is going to the women's game on Sunday

Has any of those slagging the women's game off actually been to watch our team ?

If you have then fair enough, your entitled to your opinion.

If you haven't been to watch us, then why not come down and if you still think its shite or rather do something else, then same again fair enough, your entitled to your opinion.

For what it's worth, we play fantastic football, with some of the best players in the country and Europe.

lol, you had me there for a minute.

The problem with doing two fixtures is that even with cheap tickets, it still becomes a long day.
I remember attending both Schalke EDS games that preceded the defeats against Arsenal and Barcelona. There was a sense of novelty about the first occasion, but there was a howling gale at the second, and then you're looking at £3 for a cup of tea, and long queues for crappy expensive catering which should't annoy me, but always does.
Perhaps it works better in late August/late September, but I won't be doing it again.

As for womens football, I attended the 1-0 victory over Birmingham last season. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of football, but the atmosphere has more of a schoolboy international feel.
That's not a criticism and I wish them well. However, you only have to read some of the tedious comments on this thread to appreciate that it will take years of slow evolution before the majority take it seriously.

Two games straight, missing noon lunch...I'd be hungry but will give it a go.
Me and the missus have booked into the little Italian just up the road in between the games. Going to wetherspoons in Ashton early doors for breakfast and a couple of pints, looking forward to it and it's also my birthday weekend 61:(
