Who else remembers those CITY bar scarves ?

I had one of those rattles !!

I had that rattle. Took it to Wembley 1974.
My stepdad was a chippie for Granada TV and he made that rattle. He was a Utd fan. GTV let him have it when the filming was over. He gave it to me.

It was very big for a fourteen year old and really heavy. I sadly don't have it anymore.

It was perhaps the only scarf that didn't have writing on it and which was distinctly 'us'; couldn't be mistaken for Coventry, West Ham, Villa etc.

I bought a pure wool City scarf from Appleberry online,bit like the old college scarves,very wide and long,and warm,for £20,just had a look on their website and it’s now £24.95.There are no badges etc but the colour is spot on for City and it’s quite classy.
