He has nothing whatsoever to do with the ones that do work out.

Credit has to be given to Txiki, Soriano, Pep, Khaldoon, etc. To be honest, our only bad summers since the takeover have been 2012 and 2014, and one of those we were hampered by FFP.

I think the player also has a big part. Zinchenko could have been a bad signing but his attitude and work has made him a great transfer. Pretty sure he was a player that was going to get moved on but now he's a great part of the team.

What we paid for Zinchenko adds to what a great signing he's turned ou to be....his determination, patience and willingness to grab his chances havent done him any harm either.
