Us or the scum?

I dont think they have anyone as high profile as Robinho.

Shrek, no where near as talented as Robbie, is overhyped in England and will never be considered a superstar due to his highly photogenic appearance. (fickle but true.)

Cant think of anyone else in their team?

Yeah Shrek is the number one unfortunately but there's no doubt they're envious that we've got Robbie now. I'd also like to think they'll be envious of a certain Argentinian forward but let's not tempt fate.

I would have thought that Ronaldo was their highest profile player to be honest , you seem to see more asians with his name on the back of their shirts than any other rag player since the height of Beckhams popularity .

But i should imagine that , in this day and age , most of the better known Premiership teams and players are known worldwide ..... after all fans on most continents probably see as much of the Premiership as we do now!

Rooney is easily more worldwide known than Robinho. Brazil's Kaka and Ronaldinho take all the limelight whereas now England have Beckham, Rooney and Gerrard.

Not a chance mate. Go on YouTube or similar sites and you will find that Robbie has far more hits then Shrek.

I hate to say it but I will stick to my word and say Rooney is better known worldwide. He broke onto the scene in the biggest league in the world and was an England regular at the age of 18. He plays for the most well known team in the world. I know Robi is big but Rooney edges it for me even with the amount of popularity from South America. Rooney was the first of many world class players to break onto the world scene as a very young lad.
