Quite true, but whilst he might be impartial when it comes to City generally, Thompson might as well be sat in the middle of the Kop, for all the impartiality he can conjur up when Liverpool are playing. Any pretence at neutrality goes out the window for his beloved dippers.

Absolutely. Which is why I asked the question in the first place.
Anyway, I turned it off after 7 seconds. Big Nose was already making the case for relegation.
