And for those who pay on the night, the proceeds of the game are being donated to the Stephen Sutton fund. That is the Teenage Cancer Trust charity that was being championed by Manford the other day, dunno if anyone saw the thread?
Basically Stephen Sutton is a young lad who has been diagnosed with this horrible disease and sadly it is terminal. His dying wish is to raise £1m for the trust before he dies which was predicted to be last Monday. Anyway, the funds began to roll in and his fund currently stands at £3.1m!! The donations and charitable nature of everyone seems to have given him some kind of strength or resolve and he is still hanging in there.
Stephen's story is here: <a class="postlink" href="http://stephensstory.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://stephensstory.co.uk</a> and his just giving page is: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.justgiving.com/stephen-sutton-tct" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.justgiving.com/stephen-sutton-tct</a>
I don't do Facebook, but his Facebook page is also very worth a look.
