Who is Worse

Absolute rubbish Marvin. Our squad now is littered with absolute quality players...and however badly Jo is doing he was still valued by us in the £18m bracket...who knows what Ball would have done with that kind of money? Besides we had Gerry Fucking Creaney playing for us back then. Apart from Curle, Quinn, Kinky and Rosler (and none of these were what you could call consistent performers) our squad was fucking awful...useless in fact. Now we have Hart, Zab, Richards, Kompany, Ireland, SWP, Petrov, Robinho and plenty of others that area million times better than what we had back then.

Would Ball have done a better job than Hughes now...it's doubtful because he was a shockingly bad manager but then that is exactly how Hughes is performing at the moment.

I don't believe anyone could seriously think this. You need urgent help mate.

Whilst Ball was utter, utter dogshit he had nowhere near the squad that Hughes has got. Back then we were shit and played like we were shit. Now we've got the 5th/6th best squad of players in the league and are performing terribly.

We ain't performing as we should - I'll give you that - but we beat Arsenal 3-0, we played Liverpool off the park for 45 minutes, we put six past Portsmouth and we gave Everton far more of a game in the first half on Saturday than we've given them in a while. Plus whatever hysteria people are spouting about relegation, we aren't going down this season.

If Ball was manager he'd do a swap deal, Robinho for Jon Stead (Walsh/Creaney). Then he'd sell our most promising young player, Ireland (Flitcroft).

I had no confidence whatsoever that he'd come good at any stage. I think Hughes could.

Oh whoopy doo...with a squad full of stars we're not gonna get relegated. Can't wait until May when I can get the champagne out! If Alan Ball got 15 points at this stage with the squad he had back then then he'd get 18 points with this squad easily.

Well I have absolute zero confidence in Hughes' ability. Depending on what you actually mean by 'coming good' I would say not a chance. (By my reckoning coming good for our squad is champions league football and Hughes will never achieve that).

it is all about opinions but i would rether have ball and SP rather than MH. Our current manager is the most clueless of the lot of them. When you consider the squad he has at his disposal our season has been a disaster so far.
