Jesus that takes me back! School holidays I’d have to go to my Nan’s flat while all my mates were at home or playing out cos their mums didn’t work. I’d be desperately turning that dial on the windowsill trying to find something to watch on her black and white tv. Then my Nan would come in from the kitchen and clip me round the ear cos I’d turned the tv up so I could actually hear it! She was always worried about disturbing the deaf old lady below.

Never seen one of them before. We never had a TV until the early 70's and then you had a dial on the TV itself. Quick Google confirms you had a box like that if you lived in a shit signal zone.
