Me. I knew I had been under taxed so I contacted HMRC.

Quite a few do. The ones that realise that they need to pay tax to allow the NHS to be free etc.

Not many would pay more than they needed to, but some rich people do care about others. Sadly too few though.

I live in a vicarage and most weeks, I go and put gas and electricity money on peoples’ cards as they have no money.

We also sort out food hampers for people too on a regular basis.

Could you let the board know how you help others now please?

I'm in the higher tax bracket and would accept paying more if it means taxation is fairer. An extra 1% of tax would not change my life. Apply that across the board now on high earners, why not?

Do you honestly think a left wing Government with views similar to those who post on the politics forum, we all know who they are, will ever get elected .

I read a fair bit of the politics forum and I don’t think it is particularly left wing tbh, it’s predominantly centrist. Think it shows how much the Overton window has shifted over the last few years that you perceive it to be left wing though (which will drive the real left wingers mad!)
