Who should be the next leader of the Tory party?

I am afraid that’s how it works.
They got even less if you count those who could be arsed voting but are first to moan when things don’t go to plan

How what works? I said that as a reason your logic behind saying people on here must have voted either Corbyn or Johnson is flawed, I wasn’t making a point about the general political situation.

I didn’t vote for either of them myself.

So you genuinely think the disparity of wealth we’ve currently got is ok?

If they really feel like that, let them go, others always take their place. The Scandinavian countries being a prime example.
We live in a Global world.
Very little that can be done about the super rich
You say let them go
The top 1% pay well over 1/3 of all taxes so saying let them go means the tax burden ends up falling on the PAYE to pay for essential services.
Others to take there place will only happen if they are not taxed until the pips squeak

And like I said, the Scandinavian countries clearly show your view of it isn’t the reality everywhere.

Well if you look back to the last election it was always going to be a 2 horse race.
The rest was a wasted vote because it had no effect on who formed the next Government.

Good post
I cannot argue with the majority of what you say.
It’s fear of the alternatives to the Tories and not knowing what you will get with a Labour Government particularly with wage demands hat will frighten a lot off from voting Labour.
There isn’t a credible opposition at the moment.
There isn’t a credible national party in the country, period.

If you’re purely short termist (and have no interest in local politics) then yes. I’d argue if I’d have voted for either then my vote would have been even more wasted as it wouldn’t have been my true voice. If everyone did that, then we turn completely into the US and a two party system.

I could not agree more.
Unfortunately we cannot take the best bits from each of them, put them on to a wish list and tell them to implement those policies.
According to quite a few on here the electorate is too thick to even be worthy of a vote.

The Scandinavian countries are about 2% of the worlds GDP so hardly a beacon of how the world should operate

And yet their happiness and quality of life are right at the top. Telling that you defaulted to an economic view of it rather than a societal one though ;)
