As chuffed as i am that were 5th, I dont think a poxy website thats uses facebook for judging criteria should be taken at all seriously. But i assume you already knew this.
 
They'll realise next season if they dont get champions league football, they will be no big summer buys there better players will get itchy feet and leave..they'll wake up all hot and sweaty one morning to realise there in the same bracket as villa,Sunderland and Everton! Or are they already in that bracket?

You forget, they're hoping for FFP to banish us back to mid-table. They'll reclaim the glory that we heinously stole with our 'oil sheikh.' Then the world will be set right and everything will be peachy in Dipperland.

They've gambled a lot of money on getting that CL slot back. It was worth around 25% of their total revenue last time they were in it (2009/10) so they need it badly.

Yeah they have Gambled and if they don't look like they going to get champions league There American owner will be looking very nervous all of a sudden regarding there investment....

they have bought the standard of player Hughes bought to get where they are at the moment....

The difference is we went again and bought Silva Tevez yaya AJ Milner.....

Then we went again we got Dzeko Clichy Savic and Aguero....

They will not be able to spend big next summer if they don't get champions league football...

More than likely. But that's also money they need to live on and pay their wages out of, plus this is the second year they've had to manage without CL monies. I think they will get 4th as I don't see either Spurs or Arsenal doing it. But they will be sweating if they don't. I'd pmsl if someone like Fulham or Everton got it.

Not Arsenal. Their turnover in 2010 was double Liverpool's and their wages were less. Even taking out the property development profit, they'd be OK I reckon. I suspect the problem they have is the one the rags had of wage structure (until Rooney broke it).
