I was there, City had a right old mob there that night as OP states.
I first went to Anfield 1971 in 1981 this was the biggest ever mob i ver seen there .couldnt believe the amount of there boozers we took over .another final we should have been at

There was loads of trouble after the first game especially after that decision. I was at the 2nd aged 12 with my dad in the City Seats which were up in their main stand. Very intimidating

Amazing atmosphere at anfield that night. It was scary walking/running from Lime street to the ground. There was scrapping all over the place.

Always remember the City fans rendition of "Shut up yer face" by Joe Dolce at half time. After the game It was murder. Wont see days like that again.
