Who was at Liverpool league Cup Semi Final 1981

Went to the league game at anfeild in 81. The match was played on a Tuesday night after the fa cup final replay with spurs. What a nightmare that was, pulled knives out on us in our own end. Police said "you shouldn't have come you Manc ****s. No more than a couple of hundred city there. There was about 15 of us from rusholme, try to get back to lime street was like the warriors trying to get back to Coney Island.

Went to the home game with my old feller and older brother in the Platt lane end
My older brother was a Liverpool fan at the time (Big Blue now) and jumped up when they scored and City fan wanted to give him a slap, he was only 14 at the time.

He seen the light when he turned 18 and followed City everywhere through the dark ages.

Still have the photo of us a skids though with him in full Dippers kit and me and younger brother in city, always worth a bribe or two
