Who will be scoring goals for us this season?

Valid question by OP.

I had hoped for a high goal scoring winger to replace Mahrez (although I appreciate Foden can be this person).

If he goes in the middle, then one of

Sane
Gnarby
Raphina

Would help replace the goals.
 
We're going to score 100 goals. Rodri is going to twat 99 of them in from the half way line and the 100th will be the league winning goal scored by Ederson doing keepy-uppies and an overheard volley the full length of the pitch.
 
Gundogah and Marhez scored over 30 goals in all completions but not that many assists, so in Gundogans situation, those goals and assists will be taken up by Grealish, Foden and Bernardo, how, Grealish gets Gundogans free role, so he is no longer tied to the wing, Foden gets more minutes and Bernardo gets to play further forward, no more left back for him.
When it comes to our budget we have bought, but nothing for the attack, we are also in profit for buys and sales, so have all our budget to spend, AC Milan did something strange when they extended Leao`s contract, they put in a 175 million euro`s buy out clause, not saying that is who we are after but he would out do Marhez and is within budget especially if we sell on those who do not feature in Peps plans.
We are still going to buy, and we need at least one first choice top quality player, the sooner the better as my arse is going.

Pep may get more goals out of Kovacic (depending on injury rumours). Gundo scored 5s and 6s in his first 4 seasons with us before hitting 39 in his next 3 seasons.
Bernardo, De Bruyne and Foden all capable of double figures.

Additionally, look at their assist record and the same influence pertains.

Jack and Phil both need to start scoring regular key goals to bridge the gap because Erling will not get 52 goals this season.

Jack scored against Liverpool Arsenal and United last year and Phil got a derby hattrick.
 
We won the Treble so it doesn't matter anyway. If we don't score all season, it still doesn't matter. Chill with the flapping.
 
Haaland, Foden, Alvarez, KDB, Rodri and the main one who needs to contribute far more in goals is Grealish.
 
The 2 got 13 of the 94 in the PL. Mahrez 5 the same a Grealish who played less.

If someone else plays 30 games on the right of attack they have a good chance of at least matching Mahrez.

The treble has been and gone, that was last season. We start this season the same as everyone else, from scratch, trying to win this season’s trophies from a base of nothing.
