Who would you remove from the Squad?

Im not too sure but according to Mancini - ""I know that we must sell some players because in 20 days we must have a list with 25 players," said Mancini, who currently has 37 first-team players on his books........... ""When you play in four competitions you must have a large squad because if not you have difficulties. For this it's important we have 25 players."
So, we have to get rid of 12 players?

Well, we have three left backs, four right backs, four defensive midfielders, five if you include Kompany

Can't actually think of another 4, I'd have thought that would be enough? So that makes it my 8 :o)

Nielson is out on loan, i doubt Gonzales will be included in the first team squad.

Defenders: Vidal, Cunningham and Logan

Midfielders: Etuhu and Weiss (loan), Michael Johnson (no point including him the squad for the first half of the season)

Strikers: Caicedo, Jo, Bellamy, RSC, Robinho (maybe keep one of the last 3)

That's 12 gone, i don't think Ibrahim, Nimely and Boyata have to be included in the squad because of their age? Leaves space for Milner, Balotelli and possibly another to come in.

Yes, the technical side of things is where I get confused somewhat, what determines a player to be in the 25 man squad?

Taylor and Vieira have only just signed new deals, so they aint going anywhere.

Has the thought crossed anyone elses mind that we may nominate two different squads for the Prem and the Europa League?

I'd have a final squad like:

Keepers: Given, Hart, Taylor

Defenders: Boateng, Lescott, Kompany, Toure, Kolarov, Bridge or Garrido, Richards, Onuoha, Zabaleta

Midfield: Milner, Silva, Toure, De Jong, Barry, Vieira, A Johnson, Ireland, SWP

Strikers : Ade, Tevez, Balotelli, Robinho or Bellamy.

That's 25, the rest can be loaned, sold, or are young so don't need to be included.

Have I got this right in thinking players like cunningham and Ibrahim dont need to be in the 25 squad anyway as they play anyway.
