Who would you support

If City just vanished from existance then I would probably choose somebody like Huddersfield. I see potential there! good colours, decent enough ground. Not a million miles away. Good league.

If we ceased to exist I couldn't properly support anybody – i'd probably go and watch a local team, but I wouldn't be passionate about anybody else!

Studied in Norwich, and used to go and watch them from time-to-time (a bit "glory-hunting" to be honest, as I was there when they had their UEFA Cup run!). They had some good players, but I especially liked Darren Eadie. Had a soft spot for them because they were another "City", they were the opponents in the first game I ever saw (6-0 in the 80-81 FA Cup), and I felt embarrassed for them that there were more Rags in their own city than there were Norwich fans (some of whom used to actually go to the games wearing replica rag shirts!)

I can't imagine life without City. I literally live my life around them - holidays, weekends away, parties, family meals all fit in with the City schedule, and the fam understand this and don't even mind! I'm in my 50's now and it hurts my brain to even contemplate who I would follow. Probably just a generic underdog on a weekly basis, and like the poster above, anyone playing the rag scum.

You traitor Danny !! It was always the mighty poppies !
Ha! Hey Steve, I remember going to see Kettering vs Corby with some of my good Corby lads, the most violent game I've ever been to by a long stretch. At one point four Corby lads walked into the main stand and shit hit the fan, everybody from the Corby end jumped the fence and ran headlong at the Kettering end. People were running everywhere, cops, dogs, horses, it was like a scene from a slap stick comedy. Once they got it under control, half of the Kettering fans left, walked to Rockingham Road then spent the rest of the game pelting that piece of shit stand with bricks and bottles. Cops insisted all Corby fans got on busses for the 6 mile drive home, I then had to hitch back to Kettering to get my car. The whole crowd was probably only 2000...good times
