United and Liverpool scouted him for us i think, then we scuppered them both by signing him when he was alomst certain to sign for one of them. MCFC ruining football again!

Exactly - something positive!

I totally agree, to know of top names in European football is one thing but to be able to identify inidividuals and bring them to a club is something different all together.

A lot of people knew he was 'a good player' but did anyone think he would be as effective as he is?

It was an easy job uncovering Silva. Quality player. I predicted he'd take time to settle in, which he did. Next season I predict he will be PFA Player of the year.
