    Wonderful stuff. If you visit the Puccini museum in Lucca there is IIRC the dress worn in the first production of Madame Butterfly.

    Pinkerton was a damn fool ;)

    This is something I discovered recently. I was listening to a playlist on a streaming service called Tidal and I'd never heard anything like it when it came on.

    It's a Norwegian group of musicians paired with the Trondheim Girls Choir, doing a version of the Magnificat. It's absolutely amazing.

    did the lot.the Lucca museum, the house in Donna del largo.
    there is a pebble sculpture at the opera house made by the same sculptor as the one outside the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
    the piano he wrote Tosca on is in the museum.
    Lucca is beautiful.

    My mate carried his dads coffin into this song earlier this year. The family are Italian, we left the church too Joe Dolce - Shaddap You Face. Great sence of humour on a sad day.
