It can be sports related ,but it must involve either a quick chat or a photo together,not i once went to wembly and bono was there with U2.

I'll kick it off ,Prince Charles,stopped he had a brief chat for about a minute then moved on.

Also Colin Powell ,king shit yankee politician,think he was defence chief for USA at the time,as with prince charles brief chat then moved on.
 
A blondie off Emmerdale, think she was seeing david dunn at one point. At a house party (ironically next door to Garry Flitcroft) and she couldnt find a bottle opener. Now being a smart arse i said i could open with a lighter, and can usually do it but on this occasion i couldnt manage. I tried for a couple of minutes as she smiled awkwardly. I was cutting my hand to shreds trying but couldnt do it. So she fucked off.
 
I was drinkin' for a few hours in the Lowry hotel bar about three/four years back when Tony Blair , Sven goran Eriksson , Ryan Giggs and ITN news reporter John Snow all walked in (at various stages) ......... I've also met Bucks Fizz in a shop (remember them!) , an' i've passed Leo Sayer on Cannon Street , Manchester.

Also went with the missus for a meal in Chinatown about three years ago , an' that tasty blonde from Emmerdale , Sammy Winward (below) , was eatin' on the very next table.

when i worked in a restaurant, i was david beckham's waiter. he tipped pretty well, but not as well as willo flood and stephen jordan did!

i was introduced to seann william scott (stifler) by tim wheeler from ash at a coldplay gig in LA and also met chris martin.

i know ash quite well, mainly the bass player, so through him i met loads of crazy people like edgar wright (director of shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, spaced), legendary producer arthur baker, bonehead from oasis, jimmy nesbit, bryan robertson from thin lizzy and i played fifa with some guy who, as we were informed after he left, used to go out with madonna. dunno who he was tho.

i nearly met tom hanks and ron howard once though, we didnt notice as they walked right by me and my mates.

oh and i met booker t/king booker from wwe once. he was cool.

Lee Croft is a friend of a friend, and I once showed Jason Roberts around a house. Shefti Kuqi was another one, it was a flat with marble floor. I asked him if he was gonna practice his goal celebration on it!!

Stephen Carpenter and Chi Cheng from the Deftones both great guys had a smoke and a drink with both, they were very down to earth despite me being a complete fan boy!

And I used to go college right beside the BBC in belfast and we used to see Chistine Bleetly everyday and used to torture her!
 
Noel Gallagher came over and introduced himself to us at glastonbury 94, when I was E'd off my head about 1 in the morning. He then hung around with us for a few hours before we actually pretended we were going to bed as he was doing our heads in a bit. We were talking loads about City. He was totally on his own and seemed to want be be our mate.

I still kick myself.

Oh and Mike Summerbee when the white kit came out last year, me and a mate went and did some photoshoot thing, down near the pitch at COMS and he was in the stadium at the time and got a picture and shirt signed :0)
 
Mike Summerbee in tenerife he was in our hotel and sat and had a few drinks with him one day.Martin (buster) Philips in Majorca in our hotel again,then last year in our hotel in Gran Canaria was George Bush the older one
 
I forgot about this actually. Scratch the blondie from Emmerdale story.

I met the black eyed peas in a strip club in Bratislava. Was talking to them and all that and then got invited into a private room with all of them whilst a couple of the girls put on a show. They were obviously not interested in us, they were all over them though so I asked if I could swap seats with Will.i.am but he was having none of it and cant really blame him.

I still cringe when i remember i said to one of them "love your work".
