Been told by a rag colleague this morning that on BlueSquare

We are 7/4 for the win and they are 6/4 for the win.

How can this be?

i checked last night we were 13/8 they were 11/8, i was suprised as well to be honest.

bookies odds are a just a relflection of the bookies risks not what will actually happen

this is why English bookies always make England one of the fav for world cups purely the weight of money placed in their shops in England

It could also have something to do with them having won the PL for the past 3 years and being rated as one of the world's top teams, whereas we aren't.

Just a thought.

Absolutely hoever we've lost once at home in over a year and they've lost 5 games away from home so far in the leauge this season

True enough, but I still struggle to see us as favourites and I am a City fan. Neutrals will surely be even less positive than me. Hence the odds.

because fergiescum promised that we would never be favourites in his lifetime.

Actually the odds on a City win have shortened since earlier in the week which suggests a bit of cash has gone on a City win but it's a derby so who knows. This is surely the shortest odds we've been in a derby game for many a year but odds matter little going into a match, it's all about what happens on the pitch and we're good enough to turn them over

They dont often go 3/4 games without a league win,i think its a dreadful time to be playing them in terms of their form/season.

In terms of our confidence/form its a great time,i just hope he picks a positive attacking side and we fly at them from the off

Adebayor first goal and 3-1 is 175/1 at Lewis' bookies, Tevez instead is 90/1. Fill your boots whilst we're not favourites.
