Why aren't there more clubs like Brighton and Brentford in England?

Years and years back, Burnley did it. They sold a number of top players to bigger clubs, and still managed to survive for a long time in the First Division. Which is ridiculous, considering that their home gate hovered around 10,000.

Not sure why Brighton doesn't get more flack for being bankrolled by Tony Bloom's gambling profits. Is gambling more socially acceptable than oil?

Two clubs who have constantly bought players cheap, improved them and sold them for major profit.

This happens all over Europe, European clubs HAVE to do it in order to compete financially with the PL. As seen with Ajax, Benfica, Porto, Monaco etc.

Why is it only two teams over here who have done it with major success? Seems like everyone else are the suckers paying inflated fees. Why is it so hard for their transfer strategies to be adopted by other, historically bigger clubs? I can understand big 6 teams having to pay inflated prices, but not the likes of Villa, Everton, Leeds, etc.
Ffp - as soon as a big team comes in then the clubs you mentioned cant complete on the wages front.

There are loads more clubs in England, they tend to get small crowns and ger relegated in the baron years.

Unfortunately as other have said football suffers from short term-ism, clubs don't want to plan for 5 years ahead as that may mean missing out on promotion or relegation.

Fans are no better if their team hasn't won in 5 the questions start of "do we need to make a change?"

When Brian Laws was our manager he got asked about the good run we were on, he said you are only ever 6 games from the sack.

Brentford got rid of their academy several years ago as the rewards for bringing a player through and losing to the bigger clubs due to EPPP wasn't worth it, so instead they formed a B Team and the discarded players they picked up from bigger clubs went into that, then the 1st team and sell them back on for a profit. As they are now a PL team though I believe they are bringing (or have done) the academy back.

because they are run by 2 of the shrewdest "moneyball" operators in elite sport. Their scouting systems and data analytics departments will put most elite clubs to shame. Both clubs have access to huge player databases.

USG are also owned by the lizard.

Yup, and Ajax have been a feeder club for as long as I can remember, the great Johann Cruyff.

Copy and paste but here at some of the players.

The Ajax youth system is famous for having produced and still producing many great Dutch internationals like Sjaak Swart, Johan Cruijff, Frank Rijkaard, Dennis Bergkamp, Frank and Ronald de Boer, Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf, Patrick Kluivert, Rafael van der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, John Heitinga, Nigel de Jong
Sneijder was brilliant at United, great signing for them.
