Why did Elano start today? Oh and Vassells earrings

Driving to the match it was announced on the radio that Lazio were after Elano and he had said that he thought he would play well in the Italian league and was looking for a move.

Then - blow me over - he's in the starting line up - why????????? It's not rocket science that he's probably not that arsed about playing at all. Meanwhile young Adam Clayton who's probably bursting out of his skin to get a game is left to fester on the bench.

Also my mate told me that when SWP became injured Vassell could not start straight away because he still had his earrings in andhad to fanny around removing them - just the attitude of willingness and urgency you want in an FA Cup tie - I don't think!!!!!!!

FFS has Vassell forgot what it takes to play in the Premiership??????? I think he has.
 
Yeah, about the earrings, that's true.

If you're on the bench, then you should be ready, no jewellery on, ready to get on the pitch straight away.
 
People were going crazy not so long ago;

"Play Elano" etc..

Look at them now.. Elano hasn't just decided he doesn't want to be here, hence why he was never starting.. Hopefully now people will prefer Vass who sweats blood for us, should start over someone who is not arsed about the club.

Surely Hughes deserves the credit for having the balls to go against the fans and play Vass over Elano? (Previous to recent times)
 
Where is the fuckin game heading when you have to wait for the sub to take out his earings???? Hughes should bollock him for that.....he deserves another muggin for that alone !
Elano....just go,we all know he's thrown his dummy out the pram...oh and take Jo....sorry,this is turnin into a rant....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The earrings it is ridiculous a professional footballer should be ready.

Someone wrote about that. If I recall he applied for and was granted a dispensation, though I can't remember the grounds.
