Why do they have 3 windows at McDonalds drive thru's?

Some of them now, you have to speak through a speaker to order, then 1 window to pay and the other to collect lol

Do you notice, that the guy you speak 2 through the intercom, is sat in the first window where you pay :S

Ok ok I work there as a student (its not that bad) at the one in broadheath and we only ever use 2 windows and a speaker. I only assume those with 3 windows that they used to use all three a few years back and just cant be arsed getting them removed. And as for why they put gherkins on burgers.....................i dont have a feckin clue
