Why Does Nic Cage Polarise Opinion So Much?

Jealousy. People can't take that such an unattractive, talentless, uncharismatic man is allowed to make so many movies and so much money off them. For the record, I'm a huge fan. His films are dreadful, but usually entertaining in their own way
 
Probably because he only got his initial film roles due to his Uncle and also because he seems to take any job they ask him too. He's been in some truly awful films.
Personally I quite like him and think he's decent enough at what he does but Ghost Rider was fucking dreadful
 
No polarisation. He simply can't act to save his life. Yet the bastard got to grips with Elizabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas. Life isn't fucking fair.
 
Good actor or otherwise, he has a really sneery look to him.

Makes me wanna shove a pool cue up his (massive) conk.
